Monaco Yacht Show 2021: Our Top Picks

Monaco Yacht Show

After a year on hold, one of the yachting industry’s most prestigious events will finally unfold – the annual Monaco Yacht Show. Here are our top picks to keep an eye out for.

Yacht enthusiasts, tourists, and other yacht-loving visitors from around the world will gather at Port Hercules to see the most exciting collection of superyachts lined up from the seaside. The event is slated from September 22-25, with 60 superyachts about to be on display along with its 300 exhibitors.

This year’s yacht showcase will give rise to some of the most outstanding, and grandiose superyachts hailing themselves from any part of the world. So, it’s time for us to pick some of our top choices from the terrific yacht lineup in this yearly boating exposition.

Kismet (Lürssen Yachts)

This will be the largest superyacht on display at this year’s Monaco show, the 95.2-metre beauty, the Kismet superyacht from Lürssen Yachts. This 3,928 GT superyacht comes with two helicopter pads, a private observation room coupled with an outdoor bed for stargazing, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, and accommodation for up to 12 guests. Currently listed for sale, her finesse exterior was etched by Espen Øino International while the elaborate interior is worked on by Reymond Langton Design.

Azimut Trideck (Azimut Yachts)

Take it from us, the Monaco Yacht Show won’t ever run out of incredible yachts to see, such as the Azimut Trideck, proudly brought to us by Azimut Yachts. Sized at 38.2 metres and 305 GT, this flagship model is the Italian shipbuilder’s largest model to date, having sold five of its units already. The exterior lines are crafted by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design while her naval architecture is some outstanding work from its builder in collaboration with PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Architecture.

Zazou (Benetti)

Size-wise, Benetti‘s pride Zazou superyacht is a jaw-dropper. The fully custom-built superyacht was made known to the public earlier this year. This features a unique hull painted in carinthia blue. But wait, there’s more.

This 1,182 GT superyacht can house up to 12 guests, has a spacious sun deck, an infinity pool and ‘beach-by-the-yacht’ experience with its 25-square metre beach club. How about that for a yacht ride?

The design was spearheaded by Giorgio M. Casetta while Sinot Yacht Design took charge of beautifying its incredible interior.

Al Waab II (Alia Yachts)

If there are Monaco Yacht show mainstays like the previous one, this next yacht entry is set to make its debut to the Show – the equally-spectacular rookie yacht Al Waab II.

The 55-metre superyacht from Alia Yachts is a 488 GT motor yacht designed by the Dutch design and naval architect firm, Vripack. Her generous aft deck with a bar, setting, and lounge area stands as its most salient feature. It also has fold out stairs that provide water access. Accommodation is up to 12 guests across six staterooms. To top it off, she also boasts a master suite on the upper deck.

Path (Baltic Yachts)

Launched last May, Path is not a yacht to miss. The 44.6-metre Baltic 146 sailing yacht is designed in full by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. This sailing yacht also has in it a lifting keel and can accommodate as many as up to 8 guests on board.

ISA Classic 65 (ISA Yachts)

Another yacht which is set for an inaugural appearance in Monaco this fall is the ISA Classic. The 65-metre, 1,400 GT superyacht is not just any ordinary yacht.

On deck, you can savour its many features such as a 180-metre beach club area, lounge area, bar, sauna and massage room, and a fully-equipped gym room. Additionally, its 6-metre-deep pool on the main deck aft as well as a Jacuzzi completes the beach-esque treatment for the guests.

The exterior lines are carved by Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design while its creator, ISA Yachts, was behind its naval structure. Her hull sports a distinct shade of blue with a crisp white finish.
