Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival

An artistic and cultural escapade for the music-loving adventurists all around the world.

Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival is a classical music festival that lasts for four or five weekends in early spring, spanning the months of March and April.  The festival was founded in 1970 at the instigation of Princess Grace of Monaco thus the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival was born. Due to its popularity, the festival became an annual event in the area. From March 13 to April 11, the Spring Arts Festival Monte-Carlo becomes the host of extraordinary artistic shows and performances. Over ten thousand spectators from all around the world come and experience the festivities. Also around one hundred accredited journalists from the French and international print and broadcast media reports its week to week festivities.

Legendary Iconic theatres are as much as the heart of the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival’s success as the performances themselves. Around 30 concerts are held during the festival itself. The concerts take place in different legendary concert halls across Monaco and also in unusual venues that you’ll have to look out for. The Salle Empire of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Rainier III Auditorium, the Salle des Etoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo the Salle Garnier in the Opera de Monte-Carlo, as well as the Oceanographic Museum, the Galerie Marlborough and the Théâtre des Variétés, host every year the greatest artists and are the settings for exceptional performances, spectacular shows and breathtaking entertainment.

The Spring Arts Festival achieves that delicate musical harmony that consists in inviting top artists that guaranteed its success all while also furthering the convictions that have contributed to its identity. With an emphasis on creation, the Festival ensures that every spring the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival is a destination of choice for all those united by a passion for music and the arts. Sometimes offbeat and unexpected things are discovered during the Monte-Carlo Spring Arts Festival. The festival has been surprising, thrilling and enchanting audiences for over thirty years.
